Grady is alert, active, and his normal personality, but he still is not eating. I will occasionally see a change in his kibble dish, but the wet food remains untouched. Since he only eats the "paté" textured food, there's probably at least one flavor he hasn't tried. He will beg me for food, but when I put it down he will sniff it, start to eat it, and then stop.

Yesterday he ate some of my yogurt. I was worried about the artificial sweeteners in it hurting him, otherwise I probably would have given him the whole thing -- I was just thrilled he was eating!

These days I pick him up and he's noticeably lighter. He even looks a little thinner. The vet had me spend a bunch of money on special wet food for him and he won't even touch it. At least he's not gagging at it anymore. I am worried, but he seems so normal otherwise.

I will need to take him to the vet this coming week. I have no idea how I'll pay for that.

Get him some plain, organic yogurt. Cats really like yogurt and if it's the only thing he'll eat then give him that kind.

I did that, and he turned up his nose at it. @#!! Why is he so picky? He's starving, I'm sure!

I wanted to think he was on his slow road to recovery but he does some really, really skinny this weekend.
