This movie will never be made
Wednesday, 17 June 2009 15:02It can't possibly -- no genuine Hollywood trailer would ever see light that didn't lazily give away the plot.
But seriously, it's a fake trailer. And it REALLY makes me wish it wasn't. I recognize a few bits borrowed from current and past sci-fi movies -- do you?

Yes, it's still there after all this time, with the same selections y'all made before. Since then, much has changed and there are more friends and acquaintances influenced.
Oh, and I found this as I was LJ-surfing...

Guitar Hero: Sugar & Spice Girly foo-foo edition
Thursday, 28 August 2008 11:26If you can't see this little marketing gem, please click here: http://www.slipperybrick.com/2008/08/teen-girls-get-aly-aj-guitar-controllers/
Teen powerpop duo Aly & AJ have lent their names to two feminine designs for Guitar Hero wireless controllers. Looks like they'll be available in two sizes: Kid and Move Out of Mom's Basement Already.
For those of you old folks who have no idea who these two blond hotties are, a video of one of their top 40 hits is ( behind the cut. )

Wristcutters: A Love Story
Wednesday, 27 August 2008 10:47I really wish I knew why every time I attempt to embed, the video turns out tiny or stuck in a @#!! iFrame. If anyone has any ideas, please share them. Nobody else's videos show up like this in my layout.
When there is trap/laid out for you...

Curry-n-Rice Girl
Thursday, 5 June 2008 15:00Yet another favorite from my days at Google...
Curry-n-Rice Girl is a parody using the beats and arrangement from Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl," and laments the dilemma of the modern Indian man: Finding a wife. Or a date. Pick one. The video is homemade, and you can find its Google Video counterpart with closed captioning in case the accent is difficult to understand.
For your amusement I present (in all its tiny embedded glory) MC Vikrahm & Ludakrishna in "Curry n Rice Girl."
You like my bio data? B-I-O-D-A-T-A!

ROLLING BOMBER SPECIAL
Saturday, 24 May 2008 02:27Before YouTube took the world by storm, Google had a video site. I tested the downloadable viewer for it. Part of this oh so horribly demanding job was watching videos all day. I managed to collect a handful that I go back to from time to time. These are not your popular "viral videos" like Ok Go or Lonelygirl. These had some popularity, but not enough to make them notorious.
I found Rolling Bomber Special by accident. It is based on a short story parodying Super Sentai (the superheroes the Power Rangers were based on) and stars Japanese pop star Shingo Katori.
Japanese, subtitled in English, about 7:30 long, and directed by Tetsuya Nakashima, here is the most recent edit of Rolling Bomber Special.
The original one I viewed on Google Video is here, if you care to watch it twice.
