fatrockstarWe got snow. It only comes down on the Emerald City every few years, so yeah, it's a big deal. Very pretty. Garret was hoping it would stick so he'd have an excuse to stay home today.
Today I go get a couple of new calendars from the mall and try to fax my UI forms again. I spent the majority of yesterday cleaning house, so I don't have anything at home I really need to do.
I have $150 in cash that I'm still unsure what to do with. Voice lessons or a session with a personal trainer? I can't decide!
Rehearsal last night. Bassist showed up in the cold he wore to work that day, which kinda irritated me. We hadn't practiced together in a month, and it's becoming more apparent that he's not practicing alone at all. Maybe it was the cold talking, but he was the only band member to say he wasn't ready to gig. As in "no way, man!" I realize he's family (Drummer's brother-in-law), but the rest of us are just DYING to get out there and start performing. Except for Bassist, none of us have jobs to take up our day. Responsibilities, yes, but that hasn't ever been a problem other than a few missed rehearsals that we've easily bounced back from. Thing is, we already have a good two hours of material, and more keeps popping up all the time. We are long overdue for something to happen. I think everybody but Bassist knows this.
I should get out before the snow decides it wants to start up again.
