Ask me anything -- round one

Have you/would you ever tried to sing as a profession? I know that you sing professionally since you are in a band but is it something you would do for a living?
I have never found enough work to sing for my supper. At this point in my non-music career I have dug myself a little too deep to be able to make the necessary sacrifice to do so. It boils down to finances. Had I had the confidence 10 or 15 years ago and less pressure to succeed financially instead of the support to pursue that dream I sincerely believe I would be a successful player in the entertainment industry, either as a performer or an A&R rep.
This may change. My world has been thrown into a state where it wouldn't surprise anyone if I gave it all up and relocated to NY or LA to live in a broom closet while I tried to make a living with my voice.
Any luck on the hand on breast thing?
Sadly, no. It's not like I can walk up to some guy on the street and ask. This is Seattle -- they'd either jump at my chest like they were starving or think I was trying to steal their wallet.
For those of you wondering where this came from, I expressed a desire to be fondled this way because it seemed like what I needed at the time. I'm not saying I don't want it anymore, but I've pretty much given up on this ever happening before Summer.
sarekofvulcan decided to pull a fast one on me and asked this:
Considering Horatio Hornblower and Jack Aubrey are both based on the same real-life captain, which one is the better character, and why?
Horatio Hornblower -- because my daddy likes the HH stories and I've never heard of Jack Aubrey. This probably means I need to read more.
