He's a beautiful boy, about 18, probably older. He hasn't got the standard RES red cheeks because of early malnutrition. I rescued him in '00.

I love his coloring. I will never understand why turtles are so cute but they are.

They ARE cute! I've only seen one ugly turtle, and I'm sure he was ugly for a good reason. Red-eared Sliders usually are much greener, but Teamun got off to a rough start with a bunch of college boys who didn't know what they were doing. His cheeks have color, just not as bright.
