Sunday is going to be interesting. I won't go into detail here. You'll just have to wait.

I had appointments this morning and managed to screw up at least one of them. I had written it down for 1 p.m. and it turned out to be 11 a.m. instead -- the phone call at 11:15 reminded me. Whoops.

The good news is my doctor is happy with my weight loss, no matter how small. He's glad that I'm taking my meds (for acid reflux) and that they're working like they're supposed to. My back was giving me problems, but he taught me a few special stretches I can do to alleviate the pain and avoid another adjustment.

The bad news is that I really need to be more stringent with my gym schedule -- regular exercise aids my digestion and keeps physical symptoms of anxiety from taking over -- and I may need to schedule an endoscopy to determine why I reflux even with reduced acid (YAY TMI!) I was hoping dropping some of my Big G weight would lessen the chances of that, but it's just not coming off fast enough.

It's not all horrible, just disappointing. My therapist tells me that now that I'm not officially working, my job is to go to the gym every day. She's pretty much right.

The exercise will cheer you up, dear. And keep your mind focussed on other things.
Well, that's what it does for me, I hope it works the same way for you. And doing it every day 'll probably help more than a few times a week, too.
Good luck!
