Dry spell

It's been three days since I have exercised, and I feel very guilty about it. I was doing so well--you shoulda seen all the gold stars on my calendar last month!--but this month I have yet to put up a single one. Poo.

I've just been so tired this week... Can't fall asleep, can't wake up. I try to make up for it by doing the usual little bits like getting off the bus a stop early and avoiding the elevators, but I'd really rather just go and run or lift or something.

I started The Patch on Sunday and am hoping it doesn't make my moods worse. So far, I'm the calmest I've been in a while. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Oh, and tell me to get my ass back to the gym. Thanks.

I haven't had any real problems with the patch. . . well, sometimes if it gets wet and it's in a high-flex area the adhesive gives out.

So, be mindful of what kind of workouts you're likely to do, and stick it someplace out of the way :). (I tend to do the outside of the upper arm.)

I'm also on Wellbutrin, and am doing pretty good mood-wise.

Someone over in the birthcontrol community mentioned that if you dust the patch area with baby powder AFTER you put it on it reduces the amount of sticky-ickies that collect around the edges. I'll have to try that.

I have a long history of bad experiences with The Pill, so I was a little worried about The Patch. I too take Wellbutrin, and that seems to have stabled things a bit. I just don't want to have The Patch make me lethargic like some of the pills did.

I really liked your comments on the toontown stuff. I agree with you that the quick chat makes telling new people what to do a real pain in the arse. I can't really blame the newbies for the fact that they are clueless. I was a bit clueless myself at first. It is not like they have a site you can post suggestions and tips to. I personally think they should create a e-mail letter thing and have the parents sign a form to allow the under 21's the permission to send. This is how they do it in Neopets and it works very well. That way you could get real letters in your home mailbox as well as the catalog each week. Ps. I am still a bit clueless about cog building etiquette. Any suggestions welcome. Lord knows I fear of stepping on toes without knowing it. Bekki

I'm gonna do it today! I just wish that 24 hour gyms weren't so expensive. The one I'm a member of now closes at 6 on Sundays, which isn't exactly great for me. I knew I should have splurged... D'oh!

You're welcome. I truly hope that your recovery is a fast one, and that the bumps, bruises, and stitches soon become memories instead of reminders (if that makes sense). I'm rootin' for ya here in the Pacific NorthWest!

I'm learning to be creative about SpeedChat, and things have become a little easier with SpeedChat phrases in the Cattleog. If you're looking for tips, strategies, and new friends, I highly recommend toontownonline.com. They have a forum there that is always active and full of friendly people.
