Grady and the hair tie

Grady loves hair ties. Even when he was weak and starving himself, dangling a hair tie in front of him would get his attention. I often use one if I need him to look into the camera. This video is indication that he is getting stronger. He still needs to eat on his own, but I attribute that to him associating lap time & skritches with a full belly more than his eating disorder. When I take him in for a check up, I will ask them to examine his mouth again. I can't help but wonder if there is something there they missed before.

I have a coupon and am going to buy shoes today. With the weight I have put on lately I figure it's the nicest thing I can do for myself that doesn't involve food, and yeah, I do tend to reward myself with food. This is a habit I intend to break, and soon.

District 9 was awesome. The renegade military antagonist seemed out-of-place to me (too "pretty" compared to the rest of the cast), but that's the ONLY thing bad I can say about it. In-theater, full price. Don't wait for DVD.

It's a lazy Sunday. Very quiet here. Time to prep for the week.

Wonderful news about Grady. Very glad to hear that.

I just got back from District 9 myself. I just wonder what Hollywood is doing so wrong for this little pseudo-independent film to kick their ass so badly.
