No incidents today just heat
Thursday, 30 July 2009 00:03The little guy did okay in the heat. No new barf to clean up, that's good.
While he's gone, Ethan told me not to worry about Grady wandering into his room (he's mildly allergic, so the door normally stays shut). So far I have had to dig Grady out of the closet twice -- I had forgotten that he can open that door on his own -- so I blocked that door shut and now he has no hiding places...
...or so I thought.
Maybe I'll leave Ethan's door open during the day tomorrow. If that's the coolest spot in the house, then so be it.

Yep, that's the master shower. Hasn't been used in a couple of days, so it's nice and dry.

30/7/09 07:39 (UTC)When we first got Mao, he would go in the bathroom, climb in the tub and sit staring at the drain. We thought it was hysterical. We'd walk in and he'd look up at us and we would ask 'What's the matter Mao, are you sad?' and he would look down at the drain like he was hanging his head in shame. Other times we'd ask 'What's the matter Mao, do you need a time out?' and he would, again, hang his head in shame. (This eventually became know as 'Mao your head in shame')
Probably a year later we finally caught on. He wanted the faucet on so he could have a drink.
