Another reason to hate the Facebook redesign

I managed to send an invitation to all 116 of my friends to a show I just booked because I created it through my personal profile instead of as "Wynne C Blue." This was hard enough before, but now they tell you to do it through a tab, that you probably don't already have on your artist page because they didn't give it to you, so you have to add it, and then -- only then -- does it make any sense. I deleted my first try and redid it. Ugh.

I have embarrassed myself via Facebook. At least it wasn't with an incriminating photo.

An old, familiar whine: I just don't get the myspace and facebook. They are not at all user-friendly IMO, and I tire of being sent 'gifts' and challenged to beat someone's quiz score. I was not amused that Barack Obama went to the trouble to research his family tree far enough back to declare me his cousin. Doesn't he have more important stuff to do?

Quizzes and gifts drive me bonkers. It used to be a lot easier and friendlier to use, but the CEO wanted it to be Twitter.

Oh, and I got the Barack Obama cousin thing, too.
