fatrockstar...we sound SO much better live than on that damn demo. One hundred times better. Hell, one THOUSAND times better.
Bassist brought an entourage for support, Garret's brother, sister, their significant others and at least one friend. Guitarman and Drummer just brought one person each. When we were done with our two songs all those people and a handful of others we didn't know (including the bartenders) went out of their way to tell us how much they enjoyed our set.
I couldn't hear myself at all, but that didn't seem to affect the performance. We were a hit. Drummer's friend videotaped it for us, so now we have a visual record. I have a feeling I'm going to be using THAT sound track for our demo.
All that's left now is to stop bingeing on sweets and lose another 20 lbs. I looked like a fucking sea cow in that vid.
