Chocolate blasphemy!

fatrockstarI think I'm gonna be sick. I've been taking in a lot of Food Network this week (hey, it's Chocolate Week, I can't miss any) and in the middle of all these great desserts comes this little bitty skinny blonde chick with her "Semi-homemade Cooking." Most of the show had some pretty good ideas, but to see this woman and her disgusting excuse for chocolate truffles made me want to break her over my knee.
Her recipe: 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and ONE CAN OF CHOCOLATE FUDGE ICING. What the holy fuck? Stir, then beat with an electric hand mixer until blended and fluffy. Spoon onto dish, dust with cocoa, then refrigerate until firm. Again: What the holy fuck? I cried for the poor people she planned on sharing these with. Canned cake frosting is gross enough without adding MORE sugar to it. Ick ick ick ick ick...
Luckily, she followed that recipe with one for bonbons. I'll probably make me a mess of bonbons this weekend in honor of the innocent mutant truffle clones she embarrassed herself with on national television.
