Pain, PMS, Prescriptions, & Potatoes
Tuesday, 25 November 2008 11:37I can hardly think with all the pain in my back. The Tylenol I took over an hour and a half ago is just now kicking in, taking the edge off the worst of it. I find myself on edge more than usual because of it, snapping at people online or in my imagination. It was an ordeal to get into my car this morning. I'm surprised I'm wearing socks. Or pants. If my ability to function worsens I will leave work early.
I can't remember the last time I was in this much pain. My reassuring thought is that it won't last forever. Eventually it will pass or be treated, and I will be okay again.
Thanksgiving is not happening at my house this year. Not enough interest. I will be taking my 10lbs of mashed potatoes over to a friend's house, along with some green bean casserole. They have promised me cranberry sauce from a can, complete with can-shape, and at least three single men to talk to. Allison may or may not join me.
I now have my insurance card. Yay!
