Hey, remember me? Before you delete this as spam, let me jog your memory: You were in the middle of packing up that nice Juanita Beach condo to move into a rambler in the 'burbs with Garret. Your dad just confirmed that he is indeed, completely insane for wife #5 (6?), and Grady is perched vicariously on the top shelf of that crappy plastic shelving unit you bought from the Northgate Target back when you lived in A307.
I don't know what you're doing right now or how I should begin. Do I hope you are enjoying life as a new parent? Do I applaud you for making the decision to not go through with it after all? Are you even still married after the stress of the move to the house? Whenever, wherever, and whoever you have become, I hope you are at peace. I hope you are calm and have conquered the demons that bind you into constant worry and fear. I hope you are who you want to be, or at least closer to it.
Too much time is wasted on reading blogs. Too much time is wasted on cleaning up. Too much time is wasted on doing things you need to do but haven't gotten around to delegating the responsibility to someone else. I hope you're there already. If not, you'll get there.
Remember, it's about the journey. At least that's what they all tell me.
Love,
Me.
