Previously, on "Winifred..."

11:42 I need to be better about falling asleep w/o the radio. It can't be a pacifier AND a stimulant, even if the volume is louder in the a.m.

15:21 Recording went well, lunch went well, homeward bound.

17:23 Looks like the bike is ready. What will I do with it when I get it? It's too tall for me to ride, and I feel guilty about selling it.

17:51 Michael is cool.

19:29 [redacted]

00:04 I'm still irritated at UI issues. If there's a nice single man out there in need of a hug, I need one, too, & I'm happy to share. NSA.

a. sure you can -- i've always done that with the radio when ever I lived alone (or P was on the road) -- works just fine ;>.

b. call them ASAP -- don't let it lie -- they don't forget.

I can only sleep to complete silence or white noise (the dishwasher/clothes dryer/lawnmowers/nascar races on tv)

NPR turned down very low might as well be white noise, especially at midnight. I am not able to sleep in complete silence because there are too many things that can interrupt it, like pipes knocking, traffic, or a talkative cat asking "hey, are you asleep yet?"
