13:20 up at 1pm. again. i did wake at 10, but fell back asleep to celebrate. my reward system needs work.

16:40 Just spent an hour talkin' to The Lamb. We should have a talk show - we could fill up an hour, easy.

16:57 Those chocolate chip espresso cookies are actually okay. I had three... but now I have a headache. @#!! caffeine.

21:41 dinner & a movie with amy and her family. i need to visit with people more often.

01:01 up late. my belly is too full of food i shoudn't have eaten to go to bed. adult swim SUCKS at this hour.

02:22 I really need to start getting to bed earlier. For now, I'll settle for getting there at all.

12:10 Excell's recruiter didn't bother to tell me I didn't get the job I 'viewd for. Nice. Still hopeful for other jobs, though.

13:01 Today is testing my capacity for hope. No emails, no phone calls...

13:20 I spoke too soon -- I now have a job.

Congrats on the new job, but must say, I find it iritating how temp/recruiting agencies avoid giving people the bad news they haven't been hired. More then once, I've even been obviously lied to by some recruiters claiming they called and left a voice mail when no such message was ever given.

Sounds like things are improving though:)

Excell used to be pretty decent about getting back to someone regarding interview results. I don't need a bunch of feedback right now, telling me they went with another candidate is more than enough news at this point in the game. If a recruiter or agency can't do that, they're focused on the wrong end of the deal. Or they're just shitty recruiters.
