What is so fucking old about 25? There's a rash of "omg I'll be 25 in x months -- that's so old!" posts on the Seattle friends page. What the hell, people? 25 was a blast - I could rent a car on my own, and my insurance rates went down. I was "a quarter of a century." I was old enough to not be a schmuck yet still young enough to party guilt-free.

25 is not old.

Fuck, I'm not entirely convinced that 75 is old.

I always figured I'd gripe about being old when I'm 60, but then I met an 80-year old that griped "60-year-olds don't know a damn thing" at me.

25, old? Pfft.

Here, let me get you a walker, grandma.

You are the exception and not the rule, for sure.

I'm with you. I'm enjoying my 30s far more than I did my 20s.

Wynne, today is my dad's 68th birthday and he still seems like a young man to me in many ways. Of course, everyone younger than 50 is a "kid" to him, so.

I did not like myself very much in my 20's. I think I'd rather be this age than younger -- UNLESS... I was able to take what I know now and use it then. If only!

Some of the best times of my life were between the ages of 24-27. They are sweet memories for me now.
My thirties sucked-plain and simple, but there's no point in griping about it now.
And my 40's so far have been pretty good especially '04- last year. The last several months though- not so much.

Hopefully this fall will get things going again (I keep blaming this blasted 100* every day weather going on down here on this.)

I think if I hadn't gotten married, my thirties would be rockin'. In all honesty I spent too much time worrying about stupid shit in my twenties to even notice if they were any fun. Damn.

thats the thing i hated about my 20's...i was so anxiety-ridden that it was life sucking. theres something about life experience and aging that gives me more self confidence every single day.

I had a blast in my 20s...but would never want to go through them again. 25 is young! I just turned 40, and I don't feel 40, but I guess I do, I guess this is 40.

I turned 25 a week ago. I feel 12... Old is definitely not a word I would use for myself. Except for the bones and stuff, but they've been old since I was 15 and I couldn't care less.

I'm young, free, moving into my new place, working the new job and having a ball.

Definitely not old.
