I have discovered that it's less labor-intensive and I get juicier chicken if I use a baking method instead of the Forman grill. Seeing as how I haven't used my Forman grill in ages and it's in excellent condition, how much do you think I could get for it on Craigslist?

Seriously, the chicken I baked on Sunday is amazing -- the only thing that grill ever did was flatten and dry out everything except grilled cheese sandwiches.

Don't forget it's a pain in the ass to clean... unless you got one of the spiffy ones with the removeable plates. In which case: I might buy it off ya. (I'm weird, I like dry meat)

No idea what you'd get on Craigslist. I was just thinking the other day of sendimg mine off to Goodwill.

Actually, it IS the one with the removable plates... and the only time I ever had a problem cleaning it is if I waited too long and all the meat goo had a chance to dry and cool, requiring a little more muscle to scrub off.

I just sent mine to goodwill...

I didn't like the flavorless results either.

I've had one for a long time and it was great as far as convenience went -- my only complaint was how dry everything ended up once it was cooked. Flavor wasn't an issue for me (or us). It makes awesome grilled sandwiches, though -- I could probably get a much smaller unit to do that and be happy.

I made hamburgers with my "special seasonings" and it tasted like cardboard. Considering that included garlic and onion powder and Worcestershire sauce in good quantities, that's just sad.

Now we have an outdoor grill that sits on the porch in the covered alcove, and works much better, and is just as convenient. Good luck finding something that works for you in the small department.

That would be my toaster oven! Worth its weight in gold. :-D

I didn't like how hamburgers came out on it either - way too dry and chewy. Gimme the fat any day!
