I found the smell...

I have a contraption that works like a diaper genie, but for kitty litter. I scoop stuff into the contraption, turn a crank, and the smelly stuff is sealed away into a really long bag. Grady was hollering at me this afternoon and leading me to his "room," and the events that followed led me to realize that the really long bag part of the contraption had broken recently, allowing all the stinky to spill out. Ew.

I fixed the problem, but now I feel kinda dumb.

Ewww!! Almost like when I had that litter box that had the battery powered rake (I forgot the name of it) that would rake all the poo/pee clumps into a plastic box as soon as kitty got out of the box. Damn thing kept getting stuck.

Almost -- but this malfunction wasn't caused by the cat. We used to have a littermaid, but Grady went out of his way to break it. @#!! cat...
