Sometimes I'm not so sure. There are just too many folk out there who post pictures of themselves trying to look all sexy-like when all I can think is "oh dear." I look in the mirror and think I've got a nice-looking face, but put me in front of a full-length mirror and all I can do is hope I look good in my clothes that day. Poor body image notwithstanding, I wouldn't post a provocative photo of myself on the net for anything, not even for the sake of art.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I just don't have that high an opinion of myself. Cute, yes. Suitable for streaking? No.
hallelujah! someone's not afraid to speak the truth ... to hell with the pc-police
I'm gonna get blasted here pretty soon for a comment I made in someone's journal regarding 'your children's privacy' fer chrissakes, they weree talking about a 6-year-old it's not invading their privacy - it's taking responsibility, people they are children, you are the parents--you are responsible for them and their actions
maybe I'm gonna be blasted here, too, but while that kind of attitude didn't condone, it certainly didn't hamper things like Columbine and Thurston High Schools ...
a little involvement, a little responsibility here, folks, that's all I ask for
I'm gonna say "Amen" to that. If more people realized that the things they like to call "rights" are actually "privileges" the Politically Correct movement would lose steam very quickly and we could happily call people ugly as often as we like (because nobody can take your opinion away from you. That's what makes it a "right").
