Finally ordered Dad's Xmas gift online today. He, Garret, and my sister are the only ones I'm not actually MAKING things for this year. I guess my dad would appreciate one of the frames or candies I'm making... I'm sure there will be plenty (lord knows I bought enough ingredients).
Tonight is DATE NIGHT. Woo! Haunted Mansion, here I come! Maybe I'll even get some Arby's. Mmmm. Arby's.
Now that my meds are back in full force I feel much less sad. As relieved as I am to not feel so hopeless, I really hate it that I can't seem to cope without them. I know that if I increase my gym time I can go without, but that's so.. so... FOREVER. My doctor says I can't do Wellbutrin and gestate at the same time. I guess I'll find out if she's right eventually (because most of my doctors, although intelligent people, aren't as well-versed in what's up-to-date as a patient who is constantly doing her homework).
Finished off the last of the chili Garret and I made. It was too hot for me to eat, but I was really hungry. The ratio of sour cream to chili was about 1:1, and I groused after every bite -- something Garret thought was extremely funny ("Hon, you don't HAVE to eat any, I'll finish it, honest!") -- but at least I ate. The next batch will have far less jalapenos. I will also make sure Garret wears gloves when he cuts up all the peppers (long story, you don't wanna know).
Good day so far. It's only noon. Still half a day to go.
