fatrockstarI recently changed my profile and displayed my hotmail address for the world to see. One of the things that I noticed was that the special box to check that protects your mail address from spambots was missing. I figured that with all the site revamps they had just put it somewhere else and blew it off.
The next day I logged into my hotmail account and there were twenty messages -- sixteen of them wanting to enlarge my penis (or offer me something else I wasn't interested in). How could this happen? Sabotage? I don't know anyone who'd be vindictive enough to enter my name in random porn sites and I haven't signed up for anything myself. The only thing I had changed was displaying my email address on my LiveJournal profile. Coincidence? I think not.
I also can't find the part of the settings that will allow me to change the title "I'm not mean, you're just a sissy" thing. While I still believe that wholeheartedly, I'm kinda tired of it. I'd like to put something else out there. Before you send me a link I'll admit right now that I haven't been looking as hard for that feature. I've been more interested in picture posting.
This weekend I will be meeting with the infamous ball of energy known as Keith from UCA, who is very excited about getting together to write songs for a Miss Emma Stakes, a UK singer who wants to become a pop-diva. She'll be on the West Coast at the end of the month and he would like my help crafting a sassy power ballad for her. I have no idea how to do that. Keith's songs are all about love, and mine are all about anger and things falling apart. I really need to brush up on my guitar -- or just bring my DS! Jam Sessions is AWESOME.
I've written plenty for this morning -- now I get to go back into my hotmail account and label the three emails I got while composing this as "Junk." *sigh* I thought I figured this out a long time ago, dammit.
