fatrockstarMy doctor gave me a clean bill of health today, then instructed me to hurry up and get my baseline mammogram. That baseline is important -- I have three types of cancer in my family, so knowing what is healthy to begin with allows future mammograms to catch problems early. Other than that, my last blood panel came back normal and my weight loss is progressing (albiet slowly). I guess I'm on a good track.
My MIL will be staying with us on the 18th. This presents a small dilemma since Teamun still lives in the bathtub, which just happens to be the "guest" bath. She'll have to bathe in the master bath if she needs a shower before her doctor appointment the next morning. I spent the early part of today scrubbing the master bath after Garret decided to trim his beard. The sink and counter were covered with whiskers, yet he insisted he already wiped everything down. Whiskers are whiskers, and if I see any covering the sink it's still dirty no matter how many times you think you "cleaned" it, hon.
The rest of the house still needs some help. One day at a time. It'll be clean before I escape to Colorado.
I'm making flyers for the Battle of the Bands competition we just won. They've got some interesting lineups for Round 2. This Friday is a battle between two female-fronted bands, one thrash/metal/punk and the other rock/progressive/grunge. Should be an interesting show. Problem is that the maintainers of the BotB myspace page aren't checking in very often, maybe once a week, and that's the only way I can reach them online. Because of this I'm going to get all the flyers for Round 2 done this week so I can send them all at once. I have all the time in the frickin' world right now, so people who aren't online 24/7 slow me down!
I'm working on that internet addiction, by the way. The flyers and TroubleFakers' merchandise are just the beginning.
I have nothing of value to write, really. I'm just kinda bored.
