Gig is tomorrow. I'm a bundle of nerves about it. There's this one song that I've been nailing for lyrics for the last week or two, and I bungled it at tonight's rehearsal. What is so freakin' hard about remembering lyrics?! I wrote them, I should remember them. I just have to remember not to look at Ethan when I'm singing. He makes this FACE and it distracts me like nobody's business.
I'm going all-out rockabilly for the show, right down to a neck full of fake tattoos. There will be many pictures, I'm sure. When UCA started their set last Friday there were half a dozen cameras on them for the first song. I wonder how I'll deal with that. Laurel said she's going to wear black, Ed will probably wear black or something muted, and Ethan will probably wear black, too. Me? I'm wearing RED. RED RED RED RED RED. I need to stand out. It will be high-larious.
Strangely, I haven't seen ANY media from last Friday's show. Perhaps the production company got distracted? They were still working out the kinks during week #3, so I wouldn't be surprised if they became overwhelmed. I should offer to help somehow. It would keep me busy and look good on my resume.
