so, how do you make jello shots? just mix as usual and chill, substituting vodka or gin or tequila for the water? I ask this because there is a kind-of tailgate party next weekend where we would like to have a nip, but, heh-heh, nothing too obvious would be tolerated.
My box of Jello said 2 cups of water, one of them boiling, so this is what I changed:
3/4 c water, boiling or hot enough to dissolve jello mix 3/4 to 1 c chilled vodka
Less liquid makes the jello a bit easier to handle (remember 'Jello Jigglers?'). Some people distribute this mixture into little dixie cups, others find a 13x9" pan works just fine. My concoction was pretty strong, so I'd say no more than half of your liquid should be liquor.
I just looked this one up again, having seen something over the weekend about jello shots in a syringe-like delivery system of course, now I've forgotten where I saw the mention of the syringe method
