I think that reaction to Smith's death are going to be snide for a while. She spent most of her career crafting a persona based on her raw sexuality and ignoring the risk that comes with it. People thought she was stupid, so I'm not too surprised at what I've seen on fark, ontd, and everywere else.
I hope her baby girl is well taken care of. Whether she ends up with Stern or Birkhead doesn't matter because both of them are skilled professionals and can support her.
The story isn't over yet. My money is on another accidental, drug-cocktail death. Or hepatitis.
