Poor Grady, he's had to be locked up in the bedroom while the workmen got to crawl into a dark hideyplace. He was so jealous he dug up a pack of catnip, and when he couldn't open it he took it to the top of a very tall bookcase we didn't think he could get on and just chewed up and slobbered all over it. Then there was the time about a day after that where I was in the dining room talking on the phone. Grady had perched on one of the dining room chairs and was looking up at me like he wanted to either be picked up or allowed to jump on my shoulders. I must have looked at him a second too long, because he just jumped right on up. Next thing I know he's on my shoulders, walking a little circle behind my head. I leaned forward to keep him from falling. When I did, he started purring really loud and head-bonking the back of my head... I was happy to receive the affection, but it was a little distracting while I was on the phone. I finally got him down and soon realized the little bastard had DROOLED all over my hair. DROOLED! ew.
