The router is configured, the WEP/WPA crap figured out, and now my computer is back in the living room and the TiVo happy. Wow, what a headache. Looking back I believe in my heart of hearts that the frustration I experienced during this whole ordeal was of my own doing. I waited too long to figure out my ethernet situation and get all the details together. Before I gave up all the computer responsibility to Garret I could have figured this out myself. I know I'm capable of home tech support, I'm just stubborn that now I have to do it.
I'm looking forward to getting back into my superhero game this weekend, and downloading the semi-finished versions of songs I recorded last week. I am reminded that this is the week I need to order this month's prescriptions from the Walgreen's website. Yes, my friends, I am back in business.
The office is 1/4 painted. Three more walls to go and then I mount the guitar brackets and start on manufacturing some sound-and-echo-dampening wall treatments. I really like the color I picked. I like it so much I am contemplating painting the entire room that color. It goes nicely with the odd-colored blinds Garret chose when we first moved in. Figuring out where the mics, keyboards, and computer will go will be a challenge. I'm psyched.
