Teamun murk

One of the things we noticed when we returned from vacation is Teamun's tank. It had become murky and smelled like rotten eggs. This confused us and the friend who took care of the animals while we were out. Us because I spent an entire afternoon scrubbing T's tank, rock, toys, and the entirety of his Fluval filter so this wouldn't happen, and our friend because it's a strange thing to witness over a short period of time.

Teamun is in the bathtub now along with his favorite rock perch. He seems to be a little confused at all the new real estate he has aquired, but I'm sure he'll get used to it. He'll be in there a while -- I still don't know where to start when it comes to tracking down and eliminating the fog that continues to take over his regular habitat.

Wait, yes I do -- I need to find a reptile specialist in my area. My last rep-vet moved her office to some tough-to-find place right before I lost the letter telling me where to find it. Teamun is overdue for a checkup. I'm really not looking forward to collecting a poop sample. That's what the vet is going to want to look at before she sticks a thermometer up his butt.

In the meantime, what's making the rotten egg murkyness? Time to hit the 'net.
