Slow morning
Thursday, 24 August 2006 10:25I slacked some on my calorie-counting and have gone over for several days. Normally I will increase my intake during That Time Of The Month, but this time around I didn't revert back to normal eating. Meh.
At least the quality of the food I'm eating has improved immensely over the last six months. The only lapse was when I sent Garret to the store to get whole wheat hamburger buns and he came back with something I wasn't very comfortable eating. I'm really picky about ingredient lists and nutrition content these days.
This weekend is going to be very full. UCA has a gig coming up early next month at a bike ride fundraiser South of Seattle, so Keith has sent out email to everyone to make sure they come to rehearsals. PAX is this weekend, and there is a presentation on Saturday night I don't want to miss. Sunday I may end up shopping with a friend. By Sunday night I will have collapsed silently from overstimulation.
Grady has been very needy lately. I think we may have made progress in training him to not bother us until the alarms go off in the morning. Nothing irritates me more than being woken up in the hour before my alarm goes off. I'm even irritated if I have to get up to go to the bathroom. Having Grady sit on the floor by the side of my bed meowing and pawing at my face is really irritating. He's not hungry, either -- Garret gets up with the alarm every morning and feeds him, but none of the food in the dish gets eaten until later. Strange cat.
I've recorded vox for two TroubleFakers tracks and handed them off to Ed for mixing. We will definitely have to either record them again or export them again. They're not LOUD enough to work with. Argh.
Other than that, I have nothing. I am sleepy and have made it to the office before 9 every day this week.
