Second morning of violent coughing fits

So we went to the ER. The doctor said without witnessing the actual fit it was difficult to determine whether or not I had bronchitis or whooping cough, but the shortness of breath made him think that it was highly likely it was whooping cough. Because my lymph nodes were swollen he prescribed Zithromax and a whupass cough suppressant.

Sadly, I'm going to miss several things this weekend because of this stupid infection. One, meeting up with an old friend of mine and his ladyfriend over coffee, and two, the final yard sale of two other good friends of mine who leave for Tybee Island, Georgia, next weekend.

Oh well... at least there's City of Heroes.

What the holy hell?

LJ posted my last entry as private for some reason.

The Zithromax is working, and so is the weapons-grade cough syrup. It was a bitch sleeping off the nausea and it took the Advil over an hour to get rid of the my-head's-a-gonna-pop-off feeling, but I feel a hundred times better already.

Man, is this place gonna GET it when I'm feeling back to my old self... yuck.
