I take for granted that the machines I work on at the gym actually have names because I never work out with anyone else and many of the machines have their names in superscript on them somwhere. I feel like a dork. Whoops.

Maybe if I didn't intimidate all my friends by being a big gorilla in the weight room I'd have a gym partner.

Do you still hit Rain sometimes, and if so, when?

I'm way out of practice but long ago I spent many happy gym periods avoiding volleyball in the weight room.

I haven't been to Rain in over a month -- part of that is because I live too far from it to make the membership worthwhile. It's a really nice gym, too. The only thing I really miss when I'm there is a seated cable row machine. For the last several weeks I've been trying to arrange my schedule so I can go to the Sunday afternoon kickboxing class.
