As if there ever was a doubt

I do not know enough about love to write songs about it, much less sing about it. Every song K over at No Excuse Records has presented to me I have toyed with to his satisfaction, but it makes me uncomfortable to do so. I cannot honestly create songs about love because I feel like a fraud whenever I try.

I can't tell you anything about love. Maybe over the years my heart has hardened. But you can't dance to songs written by a hardened heart. Or can you?

I'll just go with the flow for now, but my real creativity stems from writing songs about unhappy stuff. strangely, doing that makes me a happier person!
