My legs really hurt. I shouldn't have done those squats on Monday. My next leg day is tomorrow, and I'm STILL sore to the point where I walk funny. I've been eating bananas... I guess that home remedy doesn't work as well as I thought.

To make matters worse I'm all crabby. Crab-crab-crabby!

Maybe try lowering the weight or repetitions for the squats. Don't back down from doing them because of pain or else you won't get back to doing them. Just MHO.

This was the first time I've done squats -- period. I've been a little a-scared to try because I have NO friends who work out at my level, and I'm too shy to ask for a spot from a stranger. These were dumbbell squats, watching my form with mirrors, and (stupidly) NO knee or lower back support. Luckily, it's just my quads and glutes that are screaming. I can handle the glute pain (heh), but the quad pain is really inhibiting.

It made me sit up and think "holy shit, I haven't really been challenging myself as far as my legs are concerned."
