Garret has been waffling over getting rid of the 21" Gateway monitor that's been sitting on our sofa for the last two months. We replaced both of our monitors with cute little space saving flatscreens back then. It's huge & heavy, and I think it's also a flatscreen, but it generates a lot of heat and is a little long in the tooth. Not sure how much he wants for it, but I know for a fact that he won't call his buddy Sam and give it to him (not for another two months anyway) and I want it out of my home, pronto.

Any takers? I'm in North Seattle, you'd have to come get it.

He says $25, and warns that even though it still works, its worst feature is that the contrast isn't as great as it used to be.

Oh, and it's reeeeeally heavy. :)

Ok, definitely interested (I have tended to go too high contrast anyhow -- annoying when you spend hours working on a detailed graphic, only to see a smudge on someone else's screen).

And I have a sturdy desk *grin*.

Couldn't come to get it earlier than Sunday, though -- I'm running a ritual at my place Saturday (by the way, would you like to come? It's for an Egyptian festival).

Unfortunately, I'll be helping a friend move this Saturday (and I owe her) so I won't be able to take you up on your invite. Sunday is a good day, though. I'll email you with directions before the week is out.
