A PAX 2009 post
Tuesday, 8 September 2009 18:09With a day pass and an exhibition hall that just seems to get bigger every year I didn't do much at this year's PAX. There were a lot of people in costume, some familiar faces, and swine flu.
I didn't attend any panels, didn't wait in line for any of the big game demos, and didn't run into any of the people I thought for sure I'd see. They were there, though.
I did get my picture taken with the tallest Master Chief I have ever seen, and was witness to Wil Wheaton attack-hugging Jonathan Coulton after a Wheaton-ized version of "My Monkey."
One day at PAX is better than no days at PAX. I didn't plan as well as I had in years past, but I'm okay with that. There's always next year... and PAX East.
