...and then I sent you away ohOH Grady...
I'm in a Barry Manilow mood.
A few good things and a few bad things this weekend. I attempted to give Grady a day off from the Cone Of Shame, which proved to be a mistake. I had to re-dress his neck three times today! He would scratch the gauze off the tube entry point, exposing the wound to more scratchings. Not good. Right now he's back in the cone, snoring adorably on the chair next to me.
Earlier tonight he barfed up his dinner. It was pretty gross (I gagged). See, the "Tuna for cats" doesn't really lend itself to the Pepcid he usually takes for his sensitive stomach, so he's been without it for about four days. Looks like it caught up with him. I will have to figure out how to get it to crush finely enough to mix with this catty tuna. If he can see it, there's no guarantee he'll eat it.
After two weeks of fighting it I gave in to the craving for fried chicken. It was so bad... I had been saving this fried chicken craving for Ezell's, but got impatient. Original recipe got the best of me. That stuff is like crack, but I really don't remember the mashed potatoes being so lame, nor do I remember the biscuits being so good. Oh well. I bought enough I have lunch and snacks for the rest of the week. I'll let you know if that turns out to have been an awful idea or not.
