Saturday, 15 September 2007 22:25Friday was payday. With the whole cel phone fiasco behind me I still had to figure out how to get a new one. I headed to the Verizon desk at Circuit City and explained my situation, managing to walk out of there with a new LG enV Orange and a car charger for less than I paid for it online. The sale price plus a car recharger, plus the $50 online rebate I had to give back with the stinky phone, brought my tab down to about $90. Add to that another $50 rebate and I got the phone for a song. I'm debating if I should redeem the rebate.
Giddy from my savings I headed to the local GameStop and bought a used DS Lite and a couple of games. One of them is Jam Sessions, a guitar emulator I've been jonesing for since PAX. My DS is black and rather plain, but it works beautifully. I'm working on a custom Troublefakers skin for it. Should be niiiiiice.
Fancy phone, fancy game thingy, nice weather all weekend. All I need now is for my laundry to be done and I'm good.
