Dear Verizon,
Thursday, 13 September 2007 19:58My new phone arrived today stinking of cheap perfume. I can't even be in the same room with it. It was sent to me via FedEx from a location in Ontario. Why did you send me a stinky phone? I've been waiting to order this phone for MONTHS so I could get the new-in-two prices and now I can't even enjoy it. I have to let it sit in the garage for a day or two (or longer) first. Because it and the entire box is drenched in stink I can't even read the literature that came with it -- it stinks too!
Do me a favor and let me know immediately what can be done. I am about to pack this migraine-inducing item for a return and switch carriers. YES, the smell is THAT BAD.

I put it in the garage and I can STILL smell the perfume on my hands. What kind of moron sprays a cel phone box with perfume before packing it up for FedEx? It's not even a perfume that smells nice for a few minutes before it gives you a migraine -- it gives you the migraine before you have a chance to figure out there's a smell involved! Jesus H. Christ. I can't believe I spent money on this. I was so looking forward to having a nice, new, interesting, functioning mobile phone. Shit.
