Oh boy oh boy fleas. I hate them. We sprayed for these things last summer and wrestled with Grady over flea treatment. Thanks to his hatred of all things liquid we ALL managed to be safe from fleas and their eggs for 30 days at a time.
Winter gave us some relief from fleas, but now they're back. My first attempt at de-fleaing Grady resulted in most of Garret's dirty laundry being coated in flea goo. I hope that stuff doesn't discolor fabric. Now we're trying a flea collar. MAN, does that thing STINK. No wonder he ran away when I first put it on. I ended up cornering him in Garret's office and nearly sitting on him to finish fitting it around his neck. Poor little guy, he's not happy to be treated for fleas. Or to be wearing a collar again, for that matter.
Now all I need to do is spray carpets. I'd really like to avoid setting off a flea bomb. I don't know what to expect, and I imagine most of the fleas are in the closet where the cat likes to hide anyway. I know I know -- read the instructions. So easy to do. Unfortunately my experience with bug bombs includes a lot of extensive prep work (like picking up most of Garret's shit first).
