Friday, 26 January 2007 15:12Garret bought a Wii. We have a Wii. It's in our living room. It cost him a LOT of money because the website he bought it from required he also buy five games along with it. It added up quick, and he managed to pick up Madden '07 for some reason (we never play sport games).
Right now the Wii is sitting on the entertainment center next to the television in the living room. This was a requirement to getting one. Garret has a huge TV in his "office" and I refuse to have him holed up in there 24/7 with his new toy. Besides, there's a lot more movin' around room where I am. I don't throw stuff on the floor (that's what the papasan chair is for).
The Wii's disk slot is pulsating blue right now. It's kinda scary. I would describe it as a hi-tech glowing blue vagina. I cannot bring myself to go near it. Garret thinks it's cool.
So far I am kicking his ass at bowling, and he is kicking mine at tennis. The rest of the time he is playing Zelda. Almost all the multiplayer games require nunchuks, and we only have one. They are pretty damn impossible to find in stores. And online.
Yay Wii. I can't wait until I get to play something besides bowling.
