Thursday, 29 September 2005 22:59I have to tell you folks, I set a price before checking with the boss. $7 is a steal for independent music of any genre. I can only offer it for a limited time before he insists I ask $10 per disk.
There are twelve tracks on this disk. Two of them are covers of well-known hits from the 1980's -- "The Living Years" and "Rhythm is Gonna Get You" -- both sung by the talented Emma Stakes. The disk also features two electronic instrumentals by local artist DJ Norml.
Best yet -- I SING on this disk! Let me describe the fun tracks I perform:
"All Because of You" -- This catchy tune will have you off the sofa and dancing around your living room. I wouldn't be surprised if you heard the DJ spin it at Neighbors downtown.
"Only Love" -- A modern techno dance track featuring my sultry vocals. Don't fret, it's Only Love.
"One Touch" -- I co-wrote this one, earning me my BMI membership. Laid-back 80's pop at its best.
Keith sings three original songs ("Betrayed," "Turn Off Your Television," and "Let Your Love"), and Emma is featured on the standard and remixed versions of the original song "I Can Make Believe."
I'll be taking this disk to our family reunion next weekend because I know they'll enjoy it -- there's something for everybody on it!
