I'M A ROCK.

I really wish I had taken more photos of myself at that time, because it would have served as good inspiration for me now. I might not be able to attain that *exact* physique, but I could probably get close. If I remember correctly, me at 20 was lean and beautifully shaped. The icecreamman-bassist and skinnyguy-guitarist of the band I was with at the time thought it was hysterical that I wouldn't interrupt my gym time for rehearsal and made fun of my dedication. I'd arrive at practice and they'd stop what they were doing, strike a crab pose, and roar "I'M A ROCK!" I laughed every time -- it's funny coz it's true! Heh. Good times, good times.
Yesterday's gym time was just what I needed. I finished all the exercises but one -- the final set of my bicep curls -- because I had picked up slightly too much weight for it. I'm starting to notice the "chevron" popping out of my arms when I do cable pulldowns for my triceps... Unfortunately I just don't see something beautiful once I get home. I look in the mirror and see lats, pecs, and some semblance of muscle, but they aren't shaped right to me for some reason. I really need to watch my diet. I wonder if I'm eating enough of the right foods. I wonder if I'm eating too much of the right foods. Having a free day helps when I'm on track, but not when I stretch it out to most of the week (like last week!)
I'm not getting a lot of sleep either. Just too much to do when I get home. People to talk to, errands to run, things to pick up, organize, or throw out. I know there's time in there SOMEwhere, I just have to find it.
