it's a little early to be thinking about forgiving.

hate away -- it's toxins; they will all come out. living well is the best revenge

There are more where this came from, inspired by posts and emails where my rage has threatened to consume me. When you've been truly wronged, what good things can you say about anger and hate? I eagerly await your responses.

Hey, you have been wronged in the worst possible way. Your good friend totally broke the "chicks before dicks" rule. And that is one of the biggest betrayals of all- the number one offense in the code of women's friendships. (In some ways, way worse than what your husband did, since men screw up all the time.)

The time for forgiveness is definitely not now and not anytime soon. You need
time and plenty of it to recover.

anyway that's my .02

That's the direction I've been leaning in as the situation sinks in a little deeper. I've said it before -- I expected him to slip up. In a way I had hoped he would, because I was concerned he was gay or something. Her, on the other hand, won't slip by so easily. My rage is so intense I had to throw out everything in my house that reminded me of her, even some things she didn't give me. It's been cathartic.

Isn't "What doesn't kill me, only makes me stronger" a popular saying? That's about as positive as I get about the things that happen in my life...

Ah yes, Nietzsche:

Was mich nicht umbringt, macht mich stärker.
What does not destroy me, makes me stronger.

By the time this is over, I should be a JUGGERNAUT.

Kudos on knowing German! It's not a common thing, from what I know about the US.

And yes hun, you WILL be the Juggernaut that you need to be at the end of it all.
