There are some songs I can't hear today without also hearing (in my mind) the spots where the tapes would blip a little, or where the radio DJ would talk, or the beginning of the next song the radio was playing...

I love the advances we've seen in audio and video and gaming consoles... but pawing through relics and remembering the old days is just wonderful and magical to me.
