Tales from the storage locker Chapter 2
This doll is the oldest toy I have. I don't remember who gave it to me. Keep in mind I grew up in Alabama, and dolls like this were either antiques or not thought twice about. I imagine it's a collector's item by now, and is probably more valuable than all my collectible Barbie dolls put together. I don't even know what to call this doll -- a flippable pickaninny? Seriously, what the hell do I call it?
Here's one side:

When you lift up her skirt and flip her over...

She needs a little cleaning, but it's part of our history... and worth some coin. Anyone who wants to call me a racist for owning such an item and/or writing about it is wasting their time. I shouldn't have to defend myself over a childhood toy.
